The quiz I’d recommend you use is this leadership style questionnaire. I’d recommend this one as apposed to the others you can also download for free, because its relatively quick to do – with only 20 questions, while at the same time, it still arrives at an accurate and reflective conclusion. The quiz needs to be succinct if you intend to pass it round and ask others to repeat and complete it about each other, which would of course get extremely tedious if the questionnaire was 50 pages long and required anything more than ticking boxes.
What I like about the leadership style questionnaire I link to above, is that the way the questions are phrased doesn’t lead everyone into choosing the same boxes. Even the phrases that support some of the ‘modern’ leadership styles are worded in a way such that only the real, and most passionate leaders of that breed would award themselves full points on that criteria. The NoFollow attribute is, in my opinion, Google’s worst innovation (yep – remember, it was Google who invented it).
The whole basis of Google was that links passed authority. The better the authority of the page that passed the link, then the better the authority given to that link. Just because spammers abused that system gave no need to close the door on the whole system.
Ok, I know that the above still counts, but a huge proportion of the web – think Facebook, Twitter, Wikipedia, WordPress blogs etc – is now nofollow. This can’t be right – it’s affecting millions of relevant links.
It reminds me of being at school: when one person did something wrong, the teacher would punish the whole class. With the NoFollow attribute Google is punishing the whole class for the actions of a few, and you would have thought that a company that had basically invented intelligent search could have come up with something better.
Maybe one day they will.
