Well this is hard to answer as you don’t say what you want to do. If you have your BSW already then it is not about “changing your major” as a major is an undergrad term. Now these two MA’s are different

If you look at the North, it was industrialised and reliant on trade, while the Southern states were dependant on slavery for agriculture – cash crops such as cotton and tobacco. This dependance on slavery held the south back not only in economic and social development, but was a drain around the neck of the confederacy during the civil war.
